Adopted #6

Because of the incident with the robber, Luke fell into a coma and was unresponsive. As the weeks and months passed, Jake never left his side, staying with him day and night. He read stories to him, called his name, and tried to communicate with him in any way he could.

Unfortunately, the medical bills for Luke's care were extremely high, and Jake was forced to use all of Luke's savings to pay for them. As the money ran out, Jake began to feel overwhelmed and stressed. He knew that he couldn't keep up with the bills on his own, and he felt like he was failing his brother.

One day, as he sat by Luke's bedside, he couldn't hold back his emotions any longer. "How dare you leave me alone like this?" he yelled, his voice choked with anger and sadness. "I can't do this by myself, Luke. I need you to wake up and help me. Please, just come back to me."

As Jake's words echoed through the room, he collapsed in tears, his heart heavy with grief. He knew that he had to be strong for both of them, but he also knew that he couldn't do it alone.

At the end, he turned into beer to cope with the pain. It's taking a toll on his health, and his face start to become older. At the age of 16, he look like 30 y.o guy who has been going through some hard times.

After about 8 months of treatment, Luke finally woke up from his coma. The first thing he saw was Jake, who was drunk and passed out on the floor next to his bed. Luke was shocked and confused, and he tried to speak to Jake, but his words were garbled and incoherent. He was too weak to sit up, let alone walk or talk. "iss det hu?" say Luke garbled.

Jake was startled awake by Luke's voice, and he sat up, rubbing his bleary eyes. "Luke?" he said, his voice slurred. "Is that you? Are you finally awake?"

Luke nodded weakly, and Jake felt a surge of relief and happiness wash over him. He knew that it had been a long and difficult road to recovery, but seeing his brother awake and alive was worth all the struggles.

Few minutes later, Luke stared at Jake, taking in his appearance. He looked different than he remembered, his face gaunt and his eyes sunken in. He looked like a man in his 30s who had been through a lot of pain and suffering, and Luke couldn't help but wonder what had happened to him. "Is this real Jake?" he thought.

"Jake," he said, his voice weak but firm. "What happened to you? You look different, and you're acting strange. What's going on?"

Jake looked down, ashamed and embarrassed. "I don't know what to say, Luke," he said, his voice full of emotion. "I've been through a lot since you fell into a coma. I've been struggling to pay the bills and keep up with everything, and it's been really hard. I turned to alcohol and drugs to cope, and I'm sorry for that."

"Oh my god," Luke said. "Cmon, come and hugged me dude". Jake nodded, and hugged him gratefully.

As Jake finished speaking, Luke reached out and took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Well, Jake," he said, his voice filled with love and compassion. "I have a secret bank account that I've been saving for a rainy day. We can use that money to pay off the bills and get you some help. You don't have to struggle anymore. We'll get through this together."

Jake's face lit up at the news, and he felt a surge of relief and gratitude wash over him. He knew that he had been lucky to have such a caring and supportive brother, and he vowed to do everything he could to repay Luke's kindness.

Knowing that the money from his hidden bank account wouldn't last forever, Luke gathered his courage and made a video asking for donations to help cover the costs of his ongoing medical treatment. He knew it would be a difficult thing to do, but he was determined to do whatever it took to get better and be there for Jake.

As the video went live, it quickly went viral, and people all over the world were shocked by Luke's gaunt and emaciated appearance. Many of them commented on the video, expressing their sadness and concern for his well-being.

"Oh my god, Luke," one person wrote. "I can't believe how sick you look. You were always such a strong and vibrant person, and it's hard to see you like this. I'll be sure to donate and spread the word to help you get the treatment you need."

Another person commented, "I remember when you led England to victory in the World Cup. You were an inspiration to so many people, and it breaks my heart to see you in this state. I hope you get the help you need and make a full recovery."

Luke happy.

As Luke worked hard to recover and get back on his feet, he couldn't shake the feeling that Jake desperately needed emotional help. He knew that Jake had been through a lot since he fell into a coma, and he felt guilty for not being there for him.

One day, as he searched through his hospital room for Jake, he noticed that the bathroom door was locked from the inside. He knew immediately that something was wrong, and he pushed his weak body towards the door, determined to break it down.

Despite his many failed attempts, he finally succeeded in breaking the door down, and he burst into the bathroom to find Jake's lifeless body lying in the bathtub, his skin turned blue. There were drugs scattered all around him, and it was clear that he had overdosed.

Luke's heart raced with fear and desperation as he rushed to Jake's side, trying to revive him. He knew that he had to act fast, and he called for help and administered CPR, hoping against hope that he could save his brother's life.

It was too late. Jake had already died a few hours ago, and there was nothing that Luke could do to bring him back. But as he stood there, staring at his brother's lifeless body, he noticed a note stuck to the bathroom mirror.

With trembling hands, Luke reached for the note and read the message that Jake had left for him. His heart sank as he read the words, and he felt a wave of guilt and grief wash over him.

"See, imagine if I never met you, I wouldn't have turned to drugs like this," the note read. "I'm dying because of you, Luke. Why did you adopt me if you knew you were sick? I'll see you soon in hell, I hope you'll meet me there too."

Luke's hands shook as he read the words, and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. But as he looked closer, he saw a little note below the main message, and his heart skipped a beat.

"JK, you're the kindest person I've ever seen," the note read. "Sorry, I didn't want it to end like this, but it's already happened. I'm addicted."

The funeral for Jake was held at Luke's home, and it was attended by a large crowd of Luke's fans, who had come to pay their respects and show their support. As the mourners gathered around the casket, Luke stood at the front, his eyes red and swollen from tears.

He looked out at the crowd, his heart heavy with grief and guilt. He knew that he had let Jake down, and he felt responsible for his brother's death. But as he looked around at all the people who had come to honor Jake's memory, he realized that he was not alone in his pain.

Many of the mourners approached Luke, offering their condolences and expressing their pity for him. They knew how much he had loved Jake, and how hard he had worked to help him overcome his addiction.

As the funeral came to a close, Luke stood at the graveside, his eyes fixed on the casket as it was lowered into the ground. He knew that he would never forget Jake, and he vowed to honor his memory by continuing to fight for those who were struggling with addiction, just as Jake had.

With the money he had saved in his hidden bank account, Luke was able to create an addiction foundation called "The Home Foundation," which was dedicated to helping people struggling with addiction get the help and support they needed.

As he worked to build the foundation and raise awareness about the devastating impact of addiction, Luke found solace in knowing that he was honoring Jake's memory and helping others who were going through the same struggles that he and Jake had faced.

Over time, The Home Foundation grew and gained recognition, and Luke was grateful to be able to make a difference in the lives of so many people. He knew that he could never fully replace Jake or bring him back, but he took comfort in knowing that he was doing his part to make a positive impact in the world.
